A Punavuori workshop focused on apartment-scale timber furniture
Puulinja Helsinki is a custom furniture workshop on Punavuorenkatu. We design and build pieces that fit the realities of Helsinki apartment living — narrow dining alcoves, sloped ceilings, radiator recesses, and the need for storage without bulk.
Our timber comes from Finnish suppliers: birch for tabletops and visible surfaces, pine for carcass work, ash for legs and structural details. We favour hardwax oil and low-VOC lacquer finishes suited to dry, centrally heated interiors.
The workshop handles everything from single birch dining tables to multi-piece packages — built-in benches, wardrobe carcasses, wall desks — coordinated for a cohesive apartment fit-out.
